Do I need to make an appointment? 
For the smooth running of the hospital and as a courtesy to all our clients we ask that you make an appointment before visiting us.Even with short notice we can generally fit you in and of course,any emergency situation will take priority and will be seen as soon as possible. Please phone 9296 9981 for an appointment.

What happens in a consultation?
Average consultations last 15 minutes. In this time we perform a thorough examination of your pet,answer the questions you have with regard to your pet;s problem and  together we determine the next steps forward.We would like you to feel free to ask any and all questions that you may have.Our aim is to work with you to help your pet.

Do you have a Puppy Pre-school class available?
Puppy Pre-school is important for the socialization of puppies, and as a good source of information for owners. We run classes on Tuesday evenings with Emma.Please contact us on 9296 9981 for more information or to make a booking.

What do I do in an emergency if you’re not open?
Emergencies don’t always happen during office hours. When something happens to your beloved pet and we are not open for advice or treatment please call Perth Veterinary Emergency (www.pve.net.au) on 9204 0400.

What is Pet Insurance and how do I know which is for me?
Pet insurance is health cover for pets. Though most offer similar cover, there are important differences you need to look out for. In particular, cover for breed specific disorders, or pre-dispositions, though also the difference between “accident” and “illness” cover.

What is a Microchip?
A microchip is designed to be a permanent form of identification. A small chip is placed,by injection, under the skin at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades.Microchips come with a lifetime registration linked to a national database facilitating the re-uniting of lost pets with their anxious owners. A microchip can be given at any stage of your pet’s  life.
